Thursday Mar 13th there will be no cadet training, enjoy the March Break and spend some time having fun!

Training will resume on Thursday March 20th with a regular training night at the Pembroke Armoury. Dress for cadets is FTUs and dress for staff is CADPAT.

Drill Team Practices will be happening on Monday Mar 10th and Monday Mar 17th from 1900 to 2100.

Maple Syrup Fundraiser. Once again 638 Squadron will be selling Maple Syrup to support the squadron’s extracurricular activities. Order forms were handed out last week and are available at the office as well as in this sway. All orders and payments are due no later than 20 Mar 2025. Payment is by cash or cheque, made payable to 638 Sponsor Committee. Payment for full orders may be e-transferred to

Upcoming Aviation Day on Saturday Mar 22nd. Cadets will have the opportunity to engage in various aviation related activities from rocket building to using the squadrons flight simulators.
- Improve Communication Initiative: The staff of 638 Sqn are trying to improve communication for all Cadets, Parents, and Guardians. We ae trialing a Microsoft “Sway” page for announcements and general information. In addition, we are asking anyone who would like to be added to an informational Email distribution list to please provide your email address to our lists. (Sway Page, to the Communication Survey, or to the printed list at the sign in sheet at the entrance table at the Armoury).
- Blue Uniform Badge Placement: At the last CO’s Parade it was observed that many Cadets were missing badges or they were sewn on incorrectly. We have added the reference below on where the badges need to be positioned on the blue uniform sleeves. If you require badges please see MCpl Bulmer in Supply.
- Cadet T-Shirts are now available for purchase at the office. The cost is $20 per shirt.

Marksmanship Training: Marksmanship training will resume in April.
- Any announcements regarding training being cancelled due to inclement weather will be posted to the Squadron’s Facebook page no later than 2 pm that training day.
