1. The Air Cadet League Lottery was drawn on 29 April. 638 Sqn was credited with selling 98% of our allotted tickets. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this success, by either buying tickets or sharing the information with their community, to support this worthy cause.
Although there were no prize winners from 638 Sqn, we are all winners, as we benefit from the percentage of sales that is redirected back to the squadron.
2. Promotions
In order to be promoted to Leading Air Cadet (LAC) cadets must have participated in the first year of the proficiency level training program for a minimum period of five months. Congratulations to our newest LAC,

In order to be promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer 2nd Class (WO2) cadets must have completed at least 6 months at the rank of Flight Sergeant (FSgt), meet specific Level 4 Performance Objectives and be identified as a successful candidate through the merit review board process
Congratulations to the following cadets on their promotion to WO2

WO2 Brown-McKie
WO2 McParland, and
WO2 Neadow
New ranks will be issued when we return to in person training or delivered to those cadets who will not be returning in September.
3. Reminder: To those cadets registered for the Red Cross Psychological First Aid the deadline for completion is due 30 June.
