- Unfortunately, due to low numbers (less than 5 cadets) we must cancel the Taekwon-Do sessions that were scheduled for this upcoming weekend. We will attempt to reschedule this activity in the New Year.
- All cadets are invited to attend our 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Party on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 7-9pm. Wear your mask and ugly sweater and come ready to have some COVID-19 safe fun! Cadets are asked (if possible) to bring non-perishable food items or hygiene products (i.e. shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc…) as a donation to the local food bank.
- 16 Dec 20 will be our last training night for 2020. Our first training night in January 2021 will be on 6 Jan 21. Spitfire Flight (Level 2 and 4) will be parading in person at the Armoury and Chinook Flight (Level 1 and 3) will be training virtually.
- Monday, 14 December at 1900-2100 (7 PM-9 PM) will be the last Marksmanship practice for 2020. Please contact Capt. Morrisey morriseym@638aircadets.ca no later than 1600 hours (4 PM) on Sunday, if you’d like to participate. You will receive a confirmation email or phone call to confirm you can participate on the Monday evening. Priority will be given to Cadets who have not had an opportunity to practice yet, then it will be on a first come first serve basis.
- Cancellation Policy Due to Weather. There may be a requirement to change an in-person training night to a virtual training night or may need to cancel an activity from time to time due to weather conditions. Every effort will be made to publicize the cancellation on the Squadron’s Website and Facebook page no later than 1300hrs on the day in question. We encourage all cadets and parent/guardian(s) to check these two sources for updates. As always parents and/or guardians should use their judgement when deciding whether to venture out on the roads to bring their child to cadets.
