Summer Training
638 Squadron is currently accepting applications from cadets currently in Levels 3-5 for the Survival Instructors Course that is currently being planned to take place in-person between 12 Jul 21 – 20 Aug 21 at Connaught Ranges in Ottawa. No other details are available at this time. If you are interested in applying for this summer training opportunity please email the Training Officer, Capt Duchene, at duchened@638aircadets.ca no later than 2100hrs on 28 Mar 21. Late applications will not be accepted.
Also, 638 Squadron is currently accepting applications from cadets currently in Level 4-5 who will be at least 16 years of age by 28 Jun 21 for Staff Cadet positions that are currently being planned to take place virtually and/or in-person between 28 Jun 21 – 20 Aug 21 at various locations in Ontario. No other details are available at this time. If you are interested in applying for this summer employment opportunity please email the Training Officer, Capt Duchene, at duchened@638aircadets.ca no later than 2100hrs on 28 Mar 21. Make sure to include if you are interested in virtual employment or in-person employment. If you are interested in in-person employment please ensure to identify your training location of choice (i.e. Trenton, Connaught, or Mountain View). Late applications will not be accepted.
Lottery Tickets
Unlike past years, the 2021 Air Cadet Lottery will be conducted online. In previous years cadets were required to sell a minimum of 1 book of 10-12 tickets. This year EACH CADET IS EXPECTED TO SELL A MINIMUM OF 5 TICKETS. This will ensure the squadron sells our total allotment.
By using this link to purchase your tickets, 638 Squadron will automatically be credited with the sale to receive a % of the funds.
