Good evening, Cadets / Parents / Guardians
We received direction yesterday that the cancellation of all cadet activities has now been extended to 31 August 2020. This means we will not resume our Regular Training Program and all Summer Training has been cancelled. I know this decision is quite disappointing, but I assure you it was not made lightly, and was made in the interest of protecting all our cadets and staff.
On a positive note I can assure the following:
- All Cadets that joined on or before March 13, 2020 will be granted their level for this training year.
- Promotions and awards will be granted for this year – more details to follow.
- Cadets that have registered for the Cadet Co-Op and have submitted their assignments will automatically be granted 2 credits
WO1 Sonoski has been working with the Senior Cadets to come up with activities to keep you engaged, I encourage each and everyone of you to participate as much as possible. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for more activities to come.
I know it is not easy being isolated and you are all eager to get back to Cadets, but by following the guidelines set out for us and doing our part we can make this possible. In the meantime, I trust you are all practicing social distancing, staying home, washing your hands now more than ever.
