- Welcome back! Just a reminder, it is important to check your 638 email frequently as this will be a major source of communication.
- We are still in need of volunteers to help at 450 THS family day this coming Saturday September 9th. Please contact Capt McGinley (mcginleyg@638aircadets.ca) if you have not yet signed up, no later than Friday September 8th. Permission slips are available tonight and will be available for download on the Squadron website (638aircadets.ca); they must accompany you on Saturday when you arrive at 450 THS along with a filled water bottle and valid health card. - There will be a training day for level 4 and 5 cadets taking place on Sunday Sept 17th from 0800 to 1500 at the 450 THS, Permission forms will be available next week. Lunch is provided. This training day will teach you how to instruct classes and be effective in the classroom. This is mandatory training if you are not able to attend a training package will be provided to be completed on your own time.
- I see that many of you have experienced a growth spurt over the last couple of months. If you require replacement uniform parts, please speak with Cpl Bulmer as soon as possible. In the meantime, appropriate civilian attire will be acceptable for parade nights.
- Fall FTX: Our Fall field training exercise (FTX) will take place on Sept 29th-Oct 1st weekend, more information will follow in the weeks to come. Permission forms will be available each week at the unit and are asked to be returned no later than Sept 21st, 2023.

- Dress for Thursday Sept 14th will be FTU for Cadets and CADPAT for Staff. Cadets without a uniform should be dressed in appropriate civilian attire with the issued blue t-shirt.
