Plans are being formulated by the Ottawa and St Lawrence Area (OLSA) Zone to conduct two separate weeks of in-person activities for selected cadets from 638 Squadron and the two local Army Cadet Corps. These activities will take place at Garrison Petawawa and will only take place during the day (no overnights).
Week #1 = 16-20 Aug 21
Week #2 = 23-27 Aug 21
638 Squadron is permitted to send 8 cadets per week.
Cadets will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Garrison Petawawa each day.
Obviously, direction regarding COVID-19 from the Province of Ontario and/or Renfrew County District Health Unit will dictate the type of activities that will be permitted.
Unfortunately, this is the full extent of the information that we have at this time.
Again, we have been given a very short deadline to submit cadet applications for these opportunities. If you wish to be considered for these two weeks of activities you must complete this form no later than Sunday, May 30, 2021 by 2100hrs (9:00pm).
