- Thursday, 12 Sept 2024 will be a regular training night at the Pembroke Armoury. Dress is FTU (Field Training Uniform) for returning cadets, and appropriate Civilian attire for new cadets.
- We are still in need of returning cadet volunteers to help at 450 THS family day next Saturday September 14th. Please contact MWO Underwood (underwoodm@638aircadets.ca) if you have not yet signed up and are interested in volunteering; no later than Friday September 13th. Permission slips are available at the office, and for download on the Squadron website (638aircadets.ca); they must accompany you on Saturday when you arrive at 450 THS along with a filled water bottle and valid health card. This activity is only open to returning cadets.
- Our gliding day is coming up quickly on Sunday September 15th. Permission forms have been sent out and are available at the office. They must be returned by Thursday September 12th. There are only 20 spots available and priority will be given to Senior cadets, permission slips will be handled on a first come first serve basis. If you hand in a permission slip and are no longer able to attend, please send an email to Capt McGinley (mcginleyg@638aircadets.ca) as soon as possible to ensure that the spot is filled.
- Please complete the google form located on the Squadron Webpage with the weekly posted announcements for your lunch order ASAP. If you are included on the list of cadets attending please also provide your height and weight to Capt McGinley via the email above.
- Cadet t-Shirts are now available for purchase at the office. The cost is $20 per shirt.
ATTENDANCE: Upon arrival at the Armoury all cadets are required to sign in on the attendance sheet that is placed on a table inside the entrance to the parade square. IF a cadet arrives late, they are to report to the office to sign in before heading to their class. As a reminder facebook or other messages are not accepted for excusals.
