- The drill team will be heading out on Saturday Mar 11th for their competition. Cadets will meet at the Pembroke Armoury at 0630 with breakfast eaten. Travel dress is civilian attire for cadets and staff, bring your uniform with you!! Dress for competition is C3. Cadets are to be picked at 1730 hours at the Pembroke Armoury. - Monday May 13th will be a Markmanship practice open to all cadets. Cadets are asked to arrive at the Armoury for 1830hrs (6:30pm) and be picked up at 2030hrs (8:30pm). - Thursday, May 16, 2024 will be regular training at the Pembroke Armoury. Dress for cadets is C3 and for staff it is DEU. This will be our 1st practice for our Annual Ceremonial Review being held on June 8th at 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron (THS). Details to follow.
- OSLA Joint Training FTX (Field Training Exercise) will take place from May 31st to June 2nd. This activity will take place at GRN Petawawa. Permission forms are going home this evening (Thursday May 09, 2024) and must be returned by Thursday May 23rd 2024 if you wish to participate. 638 will not be the only cadet unit participating in this exercise, we will be accompanied by 653 Renfrew Air Cadets, 2360 Arnprior Army Cadets, 2677 Pembroke Army Cadets, and 2642 Petawawa Army Cadets.
- Cadet t-Shirts are now available for purchase at the office. The cost is $20 per shirt.
- ATTENDANCE: Upon arrival at the Armoury all cadets are required to sign in on the attendance sheet that is placed on a table inside the entrance to the parade square. IF a cadet arrives late, they are to report to the office to sign in before heading to their class. As a reminder facebook or other messages are not accepted for excusals.
